Photographer David Burke designed these letterpress business cards which we printed on our thick (220#) cotton house stock. The cards were printed on both sides in dark gray and red ink as well as edge painted in the same red color.

While letterpress printing yields quite a unique look, the use of edge painting makes any card stand out. We first began to offer edge painting to our customers in January '09 as a way to customize business cards, stationery, or invitations (blog post: We're on EDGE (painting)!). There has been a great response to edge painting and David's cards are just one example of how great it looks (blog post: Letterpress cards with edge).
